Treatment Options
 If we believe that you are having TMJ problems, there are several options that we can suggest for treatment, including:
- Medications to reduce pain and swelling of the muscles around the joint
- The NTI-tss system. This is a dental appliance that we custom fit to your mouth. You wear it at night to suppress clenching and grinding of your teeth.
- Botox – we can now use Botox injections to temporarily paralyze the muscles around your jaw that are contracting or going into spasms. This provides quick relief that usually lasts for several months.
